The people at the table
Owner and Lead Groomer
Krista Petrone has been grooming since 2012
She runs the salon at 4237 Louisburg Rd, and she has two dogs of her own: Dozer, a Boston terrier, and Darla, a pit mix.
Krista found her passion for dogs in college and graduated with a degree in social work. Then she chose grooming. She started at PetSmart, tried private salons and vet offices, and eventually went out on her own as Grooms by Krista.
Working solo changed what the job felt like. In her words, “I was able to take a more personal approach with each dog and family, without worrying about meeting goals set by a company.”
The formal salon came next, and that same approach came with it. The team that works beside her today is below, and the mission they work to follows.
“Grooming is such an important part of our dogs health and wellness and we are honored to be a part of that. Our team deeply cares about making the grooming experience fun and loving for each pet, adjusting to each dogs needs and preferences. At Raleigh Grooming Co., we focus our attention on building a relationship with your pet so they can continue to be excited when they walk through our door.”
